Created by the gods, the Hyperion Star is an intergalactic, trans-multiversal vehicle designed to maintain the gods' existence as they gather Divinity. The designation 'arkship' reflects the vast number of beings either active aboard the ship or in extradimensional storage. The ship consists of three primary and several secondary components.
In the event of total existence failure, the arkship will support baryonic matter and life in perpetuity.
The greatest part of the Hyperion Star is the biosphere, which provides comprehensive life support, living space for non-crew residents, and the necessary biological and ecological components and diversity required for the ship to be self-sustaining. This also requires Divinity from the gods to sustain; in their absence, the ship would likely need exponentially-higher levels of maintenance and support, as well as resource input.
The Kingdom of the Divine is completely sealed-off from the rest of the ship. Residents cannot leave it. If whatever crew the ship may have can enter, they have not been observed doing so.
For further information, reference the Kingdom of the Divine infopage.
Although technically located within the Kingdom of the Divine, the Chaos Field is considered separate due to its nature. The transition from normal space to the Chaos Field is sharp and defined, like a singularity, and crossing that border means stepping into a place that has no respect for anything but itself.

Comprising a small fraction of the total ship compared to the Kingdom, Systems and Operations is more of a theory to the Marked than a reality. Without sight of the ship as a whole during Divinity Drops, or rare messages from the Captain, the average Marked could be forgiven for thinking the biosphere and the Hyperion Star were one and the same.
S&O comprises the parts that make the arkship a ship: engines and engineering, bridge and piloting, navigation and observation, and so on. Aside from the Captain, no other crew members have ever come in contact with the Marked --to their knowledge, anyway.
Aside from one shutter in the Divinity Dock, designed only to permit dropships, any access to and from S&O is completely concealed from at least the Kingdom side. Most likely the gods have specifically done so, to prevent their Marked and faithful from interfering with the ship's actual functioning.
