Age: Your character's age. You may separate out chronological, physical, and mental ages if necessary.

Canon history: OCs only. Provide a brief background detail of your character's canon, sufficient to understand the context of your character and relevant setting terms.

Your character's story: Describe your character briefly. What is their purpose in the story? What role do they play? What is their character arc, and how far along in it are they? Include the context necessary to understand, but this needn't be huge.

Name: Zetta
Canon: Disgaea (Makai Kingdom)
Canon point: Post-intro pregame
Age: 35000+

Your character's story: Zetta is the protagonist of Makai Kingdom and the story covers his arc from an arrogant, selfish idiot to an arrogant, selfish idiot with a heart of gold. Disgaea games in general are all about demons discovering that their own hype is garbage, and this one is no exception: Zetta starts off proclaiming he stands alone at the top, that demons don't have friends, and that he can't rely on anyone, even as several other Overlords show up to help him just because they can. Through the game, he comes to discover just what his ambition to be the strongest Overlord has cost both him and others, and what it really is worth in the end.

Being from the immediate start of the game, Zetta has learned none of this!

Bullet Points:

Zetta is an idiot. Not stupid in terms of brainpower, but he has no common sense and no capacity to make good decisions whatsoever.

Deep down, Zetta isn't really a bad guy, for a demon. He just believes his own hype too much to acknowledge and act on that fact.

Zetta holds strictly to his principles and beliefs, no matter what.

He is surprisingly resilient. Despite losing everything including his own body, he needs something like two minutes to mope before he's back trying to fix everything.

Despite the extenuating circumstances, his position as strongest Overlord is legit. His ego isn't writing checks his mana power can't cash.

Power Class: Class X.

Demon Strength: By virtue of their mana power and basic physiology, demons are remarkably strong, resilient, and difficult to kill.

Create Minions: Zetta can confine wandering souls to mundane items, thereby creating demonic minions.

Invite: Zetta can summon a limited number of minions, vehicles, or buildings he owns to his position, almost as if he were deploying resources in a tactical RPG.

Zetta Beam: Zetta fires eyebeams! Their power varies from "a hard punch" to "casually destroys the moon in passing" depending on what's funniest at the time.

Cinematic Damage: Speaking of casually destroying the moon, nothing Zetta or his minions do in battle actually has any long-term effect once the battle animation ends, no matter how ridiculously over-the-top it gets.

Grant Wishes: Wishes written in the Sacred Tome come true, if Zetta permits them, at the cost of the wisher's mana power. Practically speaking, only beings with immensely strong mana power can survive writing a wish in the tome; otherwise, the sudden drain of all their mana power kills the writer in the process of granting the wish.

Absurd Power:

Zetta is arguably the strongest being in Disgaea canon, outclassing gods, death, and Pringer X.

Class X Limiter:
Limiter 1: Zetta is a book. He can barely move under his own power. His minions can't exert nearly as much power as he can. This Limiter can ultimately be removed once Limiter 2 is firmly in place.
Limiter 2: Zetta's pride won't permit him to challenge the gods when they're at less than full strength.

Divine Mark: Recursively, Zetta's mark is himself as the Sacred Tome.

What are your plans? Zetta is here to recreate his character arc: growing from a villanous jerk into a tolerable jerk with a heart of gold. I also want to examine the ramifications of him establishing what is basically his own realm inside the Kingdom of the Divine.
